WED - DAY 1 - USA / ATHENS
As you step aboard your transatlantic flight today your dream vacation will be about to begin. Aboard you will enjoy the in-flight service as you wing your way to Greece. Meals, snacks, and drinks served on board.

THUR - DAY 2 - ATHENS
Arrival today in Athens airport where you will be accompanied by your escort to your hotel in the Greek capital city. Rest of the day at your eisure.

FRI - DAY 3 - ATHENS / SOUNION
After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a half-day city tour of Athens, combining many of the city's principal modern and classical sights. This tour includes an overview of the modern city and striking contrasts to the remains of its glorious past. Drive by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament House on Constitution Square, the Panathenian Stadium (site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896). See vistas of the Presidential Palace (ex Royal Palace), government buildings and elegant homes. Drive along Panepistimiou Avenue and view the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy University, National Library and Omonia Square. In contrast, we visit the Roman Temple of Olympian Zeus and the crowning beauty and glory that was Athens, the Acropolis with its many monuments atop its rocky base, including the awesome Parthenon , the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion with its Porch of Maidens.

THE PARTHENON

Return to hotel for a short rest. Later In the afternoon drive along the coastal road past the wonderful beaches of GLYFADA, VOULIAGMENI, VARKIZA and countless coves, one has a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf. A crowning feature of the tour Cape SOUNION , dominated by the spectacular Temple of POSSEIDON overlooking the Aegean sea. (B)

SAT - DAY4 - CORINTH Canal . (short stop)

Drive to EPIDAURUS (visit the archaeological site and the Theatre famous for its remarkable acoustics) and then on to NAUPLIA (short stop). Drive to MYCENAE where you visit the archaeological site and then depart for OLYMPIA through the central Peloponnese area passing the cities of MEGALOPOLIS and TRIPOLIS, arrive in OLYMPIA. (D)

SUN - DAY 5 OLYMPIA-

In the morning visit the archaeological site and the museum of OLYMPIA . Drive via PATRAS to RION, cross the channel to ANTIRION on the "state of the art" new suspended bridge considered to be the longest and most modern in Europe. Arrive in NAFPAKTOS, then continue to DELPHI. (B.D.)

MON - DAY 6 DELPHI

In the morning visit the archaeological site and the museum of DELPHI. 2 hours at leisure and then start the drive back to ATHENS.(B)

TUE - DAY 7 - ATHENS
After breakfast at your hotel today you'll have a day at leisure in
Athens. Later an evening dinner/tour begins with a pleasant scenic drive through the illuminated boulevards of Athens, as far as Piraeus, Greece's principal commercial port. Continue to Marina Zea, one of the busiest yacht harbours in the Mediterranean and home port to many luxury pleasure yachts belonging to Greece's ship owning and international jet-set communities. From here, a short drive to Mikrolimano, another picturesque yacht and fishing boat harbour, home to the ex Royal Yacht Club and many fine waterfront seafood restaurants. We finally return to Athens and the renowned "Plaka" district, located around the base of the Acropolis, for dinner with live floor show at a typical Greek taverna. WED - DAY 8 - ATHENS / USA
